Just reskinned the hands (not the sleeve part). Used my own hands as a reference...so i guess they are a bit rough looking :P . Best I could do with no HLMV :( .

oh i really got that gloved version, using. of course until this or dill's gets normal maps. :]


edit: dammit! the gloved version link isn't working properly.

If austere doesn't mind I could make up a normal map for these when I get home from work.

edit: Oh yea, those hands really do look good, gonna keep 'em in the wings for when I don't want gloves :)

i dont mind if you do stuff to em.

And some peeps have said the gloved version d/l link doesnt work right, I'll get around to fixing it sometime :o

d/l for the gloves should work now.

I wanna skin the player models, but with the misalligned textures and no HLMV atm (aside from Trp. Jed's trick which i can't get to work :( ) make me not do it right now.

To get the HLMV to work extract the models/textures you are using (in this case any vee model) and put it in the 'half-life 2/hl2/models/(appropriate dir.)'.

When you save your texture put it in 'half-life 2/hl2/materials/models/(appropriate dir.)'. Then, with the the SDK select Half-Life 2 and open the model viewer.

I know it is not the 'best way' but it works :).

sweet, thx. Any way to stop the misalligned textures when you convert it from vtf to tga? I get those ugly black lines that are hard to get rid of. I read somewhere to put "nomip 1" in a notepad thing but it didn't work...or I did it wrong.
