When i download rmf`s (like the one i just did from a mapping site , to look at other peoples brushwork) i lose all the textures and it comes as an all white map except for textures like sky , clip and trigger. Anyway to correct this?

*Edit* This site btw , so im not decompiling or anything. : http://www.mardymouse.co.uk/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=31

Hammer doesn't find the WAD files that include the textures for the RMF. The RMF itself doesn't include textures. Wadfiles do.
Check your Hammer configuration where it says 'textures' and add the necessary WAD's the RMF need to show the correct textures.

the dod_flag map is prolly a 3.1 map. the file/directory organisation was different in dod v3.1 compared to this new version. So, the wads this map uses are most likely obsolete.

Considering this is just a tutorial map to understand how flags work. I would say: just retexture every face of every brush you can see with a texture you like and compile it like that.

The point is you understand how CTF in dod works. If your objective is trying to compile a map correctly: don't mind the textures either.

Ok , maybe i just dont have the right file paths or something , i have a crapload of WADs and the textures dont look custom in the screen shots. Its acutally like dod_sampol and its 1.0 , too complicated to retexture.

Thanks for your help tho , i guess ill just go without textures :P
