Well, I will be attempting :p to make some skins, however the main problem I have been having is getting source material with information such as uniforms/division etc and info for both the German and Allies forces.

Google seems to have failed me, so I was just wondering if it's possible to compile (Within this thread) a list of sites that could help myself and fellow skinners/modellers getting concept and source material!

Any suggestions will be much appericiated!

Somebody posted a .zip with all these wonderful color illustrations (I believe from Osprey publishing) of uniforms, axis and allies from WW2.

Vandori recently sent it to me again, If you get no replies about this before tonight/tommorow, I'll host up the .zip with updated file names (atm they are all numbers and nonsense) so that you can easily find axis vs allies by country.

It's a rather good reference, however it's a little short on the US models.

ADVICE: Google "WW2 (country/unit) Re enactment" Those guys are hardcore, check out any unit's photo gallery, they are usually very good for photo references.

Ahh, thanks for the info - Would by any chance you be able to host that file? If you need a link to any free hosting sites just ask, and I'll get the oens most people use on the Gmod forums.

Also, the problem with using google for individual info on specific regiments/units etc is that I don't know enough about any directly specific ones. (Aside from the obvious and famed)
