So, what do you guys think of this?

release date unknown, maybe a week or less, I might add another camo type, and both camo shirt and pants versions.

and btw, I know there's still the 3rd ID patch on it, that'll get removed and changed to something from the right service.

The cammo looks good, but it's a little too subtle I think. I'd try darkening it or something. If you could do a helmet cover that would really add to it I think.

What kinda pattern are you going for?

hmm interesting story behind the frog camo.

wasn't used in europe, cause after some issuing it was discovered it resembled the krauts' camo too closely and there were many friendly fire incedents. Also, it actually made the soldiers more visible while moving.

Looks nice though, i wouldn't suggest using this if you have camoed axis, could cause confusion.

Update,

I've done some more work on them. Added this german lookin style camo on. Did some work on camo helmets, started weathering them, did the sleeves in camo.

Well, it's more or less finished, I've given the file to Handey so he can test it, then send it someplace for hosting......

looks good so far, I'm just not a fan of camo in WWII games, unless it's a sniper...other than that it feels too modern warfare-ish...but's that's just personal opinion.

overall good job. But I think it would look better if you gave them the leapard spotted helmets, that would be really neat!:D

Camouflaged uniforms were used by the Waffen SS since the war started. Besides that Wehrmacht units in 1944 were also equipped with different kinds of camouflaged field uniforms. Even captured Italian camouflaged uniforms were used. It´s a mistake to assume that camouflaged uniforms played only a minor role in world war 2. In fact, many veterans units perfected their camouflage skills with combining artificial camouflage (uniforms, helmet covers) and natural camouflage (dirt for the face, arms and hands, gras and other stuff for the helmet); those units also proved very effective in defensive infantry combat because it was very hard to spot them in their well hidden entrenched positions. Talk about the Hürtgen forest or the battles in the bocage.
