Stupid Question...

Hallo!

OK, dumb question i know, but can anyone give me some info on how to move the muzzle flash on a V_Model after Re-Origining it? I am in the process of making a shoulder pack with all default weapons, and have got some of them just right, but the damn muzzle flash is still in the original position (away from the barrel now).

Any tips? Yeah i know it will be something stupidly easy, but damned if this ol' ******* can see it!

Just to clarify, im on about the muzzle flash YOU the player sees when playing, not the external one.

well, when I reorigin my models, usually the firstperson muzzleflash stays with the barrel

I guess that is because that the muzzleflash is aligned with a bone in the model, usually at the barrel

the only way the flash would not reorigin with the model is if you change the $scale variable.

(btw: can you give me your shouldered Mp40 origins??? thx ):D

Last i remember (i deleted all my 3.1 models) the MP40 origins were -2 -25 -1.5

If not they were VERY close to those numbers. Hope that helps :D

Change the coordinates of attachment 0 in the .qc.
