There is one at dodediting center, but it doesnt work. I think it is for a old version of dod, it was done in '03.

Can anyone convert it, or make one?

I find the shield historically accurate, but useless for the game, and it gets in the way.

thanks.

I tried it, but it didnt work. I put it in:

day of defeat/dod/models/weapons

and i tried it but it hadnt changed. Is that the right place to put weapon models?

Yeah they did, it makes it kind of harder now to guess where things go with that encapsulated GCF they use now (but, it is safer for people who install a bad mdl, they gust remove it and it works again)

the extra weapons folder only exists for sounds, i think there has never been one for models

see billynairs post. There WAS a dod/models/weapons folder that held all the weapon models in the pre-steam days. I remember it too.

Anyway, I got the model to work.

i only got to dod when 3.1 came out, but i think i didnt see any "weapons" folder inside the models folder (and i think i didnt have to create one)
