Hyde-Inland M2 Submachinegun.
Limited production submachiegun (Manufactured briefly between 1942 and 1943) originally developed as a cost stopgap for the M1 Thompson.

Yes, I'd reccomend making the butt a little longer, it seems so in the reference picture.
