Vandori, I installed the British Commando pack you released, from this thread:
http://www.dayofdefeat.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4277&highlight=British+Commando+Pack

For some strange reason, there appears to be a bug of some kind that wasn't happening with the default British player models. The bug is, when I go to choose my grenades, a Bazooka comes into my hands instead, and if I try to hit my mouse button to throw, the grenade just drops down in front of me, from the Bazooka!! Have you noticed anything like this with your British pack? What the heck could be causing this? Thanks, :)

Um, I highly doubt it's the player models' fault. I don't think the player models have anything to do with taking out weapons and junk like that. Then again, I could be wrong.

Have you tried swapping the default models back in and seeing if they worked?

I'm using the same British Commando models from Vandori, and I don't have this problem.

Does this happen everytime you play as the British? Or was it just one time? Maybe it was just some odd graphic glitch.

your v_mills.mdl file (the grenade) is probably wrong. this has absolutely nothing to do with vandoris playermodel reskins.

Guys, thanks for replies. No, it didn't happen just once, it happens everytime I play British now. Please don't misunderstand me, I wasn't blaming Vandori's pack per se, but I wanted to rule out a problem with them first, so I could look for something else that could be causing this bug. I am using Vandori's SS-Spring models and sleeves and they are awesome, no problems, I just wanted to see if maybe he had noticed anything.
I'll look at the V_mills model, but I can't understand what has caused this because as I said, it wasn't doing this with the default models, and I haven't installed any new Mills models or bazooka or anything. It's really weird, I can't understand it.
Well, I'll see what I can come up with.

If your weapons are scewed up, then there's something wrong with your weapon models. PLayer models wouldn't affect your weapon models, it's the way the game is structured. So check your bazooka/panzerschrek/piat and grenade/mills/sticknade models to see which are messed up.

Yeah, when I get home today I'll check my weapon models. If it is the v mills model that is screwed up, I have no idea how that happened, as I haven't installed any new model grenades or bazookas at all. Pretty weird!

Okay, got home today and checked the v Mills mdl. When I opened it up in HLMV, it was the Piat! How in the hell that happened, I don't know, but I just put the default one back in, problem solved. Weird!

You said you used his sleeves from his axis pack. Im willing to bet what you accidently did was import Vandori's axis sleeve onto the bazooka model, then accidently save it as v_mills.mdl instead of V_bazooka.mdl.

Devin, good point, that could very well be what happened. It was very late at night when I was installing those sleeves and I was half-asleep, so it's very possible I screwed up there.
