Lo :) It's been a while since I posted here ... I've made this animation for Darkstorn's model. Hope you like!

Tokarev thing reload (http://www.van-de-broek.be/Eneas/Models/Hosted/Reload1.avi)

There's obviously some bugs but no time to fix them now. I wanted to get this done before I start animating like crazy for Off-Limits. Hope you like it.

Very nice anim, I suggest you straighten out the wrist slightly. It's cocked a bit too far in, looks slightly unnatural.

nice anims btw, although you might want to think about using the mag release. ;)

Yeh, I thought about that, but it would take up too many frames and it's already 108 frames D:
And Dod isn't that realistic so I figured it would be ok.

would it really take all that many frames to push a lever?

Wobbles a bit too much.

The origins might look better too, if they were higher and looked a tad bit more shouldered.

And what do you think that T in SVT stands for?

for the name thing... Americans (and those under our influence) are the only ones that call AKs "AKs" the rest of the world call them Kaloshikovs, so saying that we all should cal SVTs "SVTs" might make us all WRONG!?!

As for the animations:
w00t, there is another animator in the MSA ! (not many of us, and by us I mean, I attempt to animate 8p)

Looks really smooth
are you using MilkShape? Tough program to animate in, I need more $$ to get a real program...

To solve the clip release/frames problem, you could maybe, posably, consider, thinking about raising the left hand to "touch" the release just as it is grabbing the clip, and add a "click" in to the QC. That would give the feel that he is pressing it while preserving the frame count.

Also, I like to drop the gun down during the reload, it gives more of a feel that he is reaching farther to grab the second clip. Just a thought, but this part is totaly style, nothing to do with mechanics.

oh, yeah, i forgot, there needs to be a bullet in the chamber as you :crown::crown::crown::crown: it. Like have it feed then get pushed forward as the bolt closes 8P

other than that, looks realy nice, again

Looks good, Jake. Very natural.

It was made in 3dsmax7, don't use milkshape, get rid of it.

Glad you like it, I updated the anim a bit, but nothing has drastically changed.
The round: yes it would be cool to have one, but at this point it would be too much of a hassle to get it in. Besides, last time I checked there wasn't really a round that was actually worth to put in dark's model.

And I suppose the R in 7.62x54R means "Russian" too? Please recheck your nomenclature. Oh, and hay Blackadder, fancy seeing you here :D
