source mapping question

can someone answer a simple question... what's the best way to start working on a dod source map?

should i use the new hammer and use the cs:s entities? it will be possible to switch it over once the dod:s materials become availible wont it? or should i somehow use the current dod 1.3 gcf...

Use either cs:s or hl2 ents and textures, then once dod:s is out it will be easy enough to change a few ents as most will be the same between games.

make it a half-life 2 deathmatch map for now, it has more european type textures that would suit dod well, and all of the entities work correctly in hl2dm, some css entities are messed up, like rope
