Incredible skin as always, Splinter. I dunno if DoD would be half as appealing without talent like you making it better. I usually don't take a liking to your animations, but these ones are much much better.

Don't go nutz on my splinter, but honestly. Did you just scratch your thompson skin, as in it somehow got messed up and you don't want to bother with it? or are you hideing it somewhere, under a creek? This is the last time I myself am going to ask/mention this, so even if you don't reply, I'll just assume you don't care about that skin anymore. I'm just curiouse as to what happened with it... right now I got the default model & skin, and its driveing me insane, lol.

nice one splinter, i like the skin.

the animations aint too bad, but the bolt seems a little slow but i have yet to try it out ingame and it cant be that bad

Question: Why do all your newer models have wierd sounds attached to different animations? Whenever I reload this Kar, it plays the bulletchain sound. When I shoot, I think it plays the hammer sound from the colt.

Try not to over load Splinter with Req's people he is only human (With your skinning skills i some times wonder about that myself)

So yeh lay of the requesting and let him do things when he wants and how he wants.

i posted this in the WIP thread of a guy who has de- FOVed this model with this skin, but i didn't get reply there, so maybe someone can help me here :D


for some strange reason i can't compile this qc after adjusting the origin :confused:
It compiles, via jed's HLMV, dos prompt pops up, you see all the usual, at the end a little summary which stays longer up then normal, close and it gives the standard windows error message (make a report, send it to microsoft (as if that helps :P).
The model however is compiled, but when i try to open it, it says "error loading model"

Anyone else having this to?


Since then, what i have tried.
- Decompile the original model, then without editing anything recompile it, at the end of the compile it gives me the standard windows error (send a report to microsoft etc). The model however is compiled on place it should be, but as soon as i try to open it, it says "error loading model" and nothing can be seen in Jed's HLMV.

- Same thing, only with some editing (the origins mostly), same thing happens

- Above things, only now i tried to compile it with Jeds GUI studiomdl.

i changed the origins and compiled it with MilkShape and it works fine, i dont know what could be wrong with yours......
