I can't either,

I'm assuming they limited cylinders to 32 slices max.

What about overlapping two cylinders, the second one slightly rotated, and grouping the two?

Kinda half-assed, but possible....

Im not trained for 3d max... i played around with the program few times here and there and i find it very heavy, slow and annoying to work with... i believe it's a better program though, i just don't know how to work right with it and i don't fully understand every tool but i rather model pretty simple shapes with ms3d, i find it much more easier to control atm.

anyway joe... i need it to be a perfect round cylinder with equal amount of slices in each side :(

I created a cylinder, duplicated it twice, and rotated each duplicate. Its got about 96 slices.
