Hey guys, I cant seem to get a transparent texture working. Im using the correct blue, and the correct entity, but its not working right. I know it has something to do with the pallete colors. I have photoshop and wally, any help would be nice.

Blue must be the last colour in the pallete

What u need to do is:
In PS go Image/Mode/Indexcolor
A box called Index color opens,
under Palette select custom and another box will open,
on that there is a lot off color squares.
Select the square in the bottom right corner
(it may not have any color in it).
Another box opens, the color picker, here you just need
to make the R G B reed:
Red 0
Green 0
Blue 255
The important bit beeing the blue 255.
THen OK your way out.

Know this should always be done when you are
sure you'r finnished with the texture as it merges all layers and
brings down the quality of the image a bit.
(Just make a copy of your work first.)

Good luck!

rock on spine, it worked :)

I was close, I was tooling around with the alpha channels but couldnt figure out how to dial up the palette

Thanks Spine, you da' man. Its a broken roof, goes on the very top of a certain something we've been working on ;)

Good, I only just learned it myself...
In some of my earlier wads the seethrough dont work because
I didden't no this, but it's no biggie if you know what to do
to them.

Yeah, when are we gonna see some screens here then?:D
