Editor321 help meh!!

Ok. Can you help me, I started doing some hackjobbing and stuff, it went ok. Then I wanted to attach the scope of an aug (from cs) to the ak. So I tried, it went ok but I got this message when exporting:

"Found vertex with no bone assignment, please assign all vertices to a bone! Model not exported"

What should I do?? :(

well this is the way that i do it is that i add the scop and all like u said then select the gun all of it including the scope and select bone1 and assigne the gun to it and then it should work

this means you have parts of the model are aren't assigned to a bone, thats a no no.

if you cant find the model part that isnt assigned, restart.

I believe there's a button in MS3D for selecting unassigned vertices or somesuch, on the Bones tab. Assign the scope to whatever the AK's main body is assigned to. You can do this by selecting a bone from the list, "Select Assigned" [I think] and seeing what's assigned to what. Find the bone the majority of the immovable bits of the AK are assigned to and there you go. Assign the scope to that one.

I found it!
Works now!! Thanks! :D

But I got another problem now.. I just took the scope of the kar98 and added it to the m1carbine..

when I compile the model.. It doesnt compile it!
It goes on compiling for a while but then the window closes, and cant see the reason! :(
