Solid map, lots of fun, one of the best custom map releases we've seen. It is on my list of maps to ask the dev team to add as an official map one day.

i love this map, i had a run round on it by myself - looks like it will play very well! going to be adding it to my custom map server when i boot it back up :P thats for sure.

I played through this map on my own. It looks like its gonna have some great battles. When running down the streets, I get the feeling of an actual village. good work. Just a few small simple fixes here and there that can be done. I noticed its on the Kustom Kettle aswell.

thanks, once again, if anyone has suggestions dont hesitate to tell me!

ive also changed a few things already. on the way from the warehouse to the allied 1, i made another field and changed the house on the left side, you'll just have to see.. kinda hard to explain. ive also added a sniper window on the axis side covering the warehouse exit so they can kill people that camp in the courtyard by the house. also took out a room and added lighting to the balcony near the cellar.

if you've played the map you probably know where this is, but if not its on the way from the warehouse to the allied 1st flag. i had always felt that it was kinda boring over there (just a long straight street) so i totally redid that corner section.

i think the changes will help in 2 ways - they will give the allies a defensive position when axis is pushing on that side, and it will give the axis a defensive position when trying to hold the warehouse after overtaking the allies defenses.

there are other changes i've made around the map, such as lighting, i've also added a sniper window on the axis side that covers the warehouse exit to match the allies sniper position on the opposite side, this is also helpful because the allies love to camp in the courtyard by the warehouse (red building).

im open to other changes as well if you guys mention them. currently, im also messing around with the sky, and little things such as misaligned textures, and texturing the undersides of roofs.

Oh btw, the icons for the flags on the HUD display aren't working. I have noticed this with a few custom maps, anyone know why that is, and could you fix it please?

it seems to happen on servers that run fast-downloads.. for some reason the downloader isnt downloading the overview or the icons..

The overview is working fine. It's the icons that are a problem, I will double check the res file. Does this map use custom icons?

the moral of the story is simply dont use resgen, do it yourself - takes 5 minutes and whats more is no bsp mention as i have played so many servers with the bsp in their res file.....
