Need the default Axis skins plz.

I recently mucked around with some skins and have those Star Wars Battle Droid things in there atm, as my Axis player skins.

Reason I did this, was I decided to quit my old clan and stay away from clanplay and leagues for a bit.......so I figured I could have some fun with some skins and models.

However, I've changed my mind and joined another active UK clan, [TFS], and need to replace these crazy Star Wars skins with the default ones, as the clan is in various leagues and ladders, which wont look favourably upon me if I use Battledroids.......lol.

I did back up my entire DoD folder before any changes were applied, but I stuck it on a CD and so far haven't been able to find the damn thing.

So, if anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

You know, I was wondering if that would work.

I take it then, the default ones will simply be downloaded the first time I connect to a server and it detects I haven't got them?

They're still there, just hidden. Move/Delete the battledroids and the default skins will be there the next time you start up DoD.

I'm pretty sure if you delete any custom stuff you have, when steam loads up again it loads all default material.

it is like Octivus says the normal files are hidden in a package
when you delete the files you installed it will use the models in the package... which you have'nt deleted...

Thats correct. All models, maps, sounds ect. are in the day of defeat.gcf file.

Steam usually uses everything from this file. But if you place custom files like models and sounds in the dod folder, the new files have a higher priority than the .gfc file.

EDIT: Grr, EGETRae is too fast :D
