After the disaster that was my first Enfield, I decided to hack this :).

Features:

Spike bayonet taken from BG and modified to be.....spikey-er :).

Sling with cool and realistic looking circular holes in them :).

Soon-to-be Marzy Para Sleeves

Kinky new origins .

you need to add FOV on the bayonet, other wise (like how it is now) you can barely see it

I dont like FOV, its unrealistic, and you can see the bayonet when you reload.

OK, If you mow my lawn and put me on the Dev Team then I MIGHT consider adding it :p.

BTW I got teh sleeves on, but I'm having a bit of a sliding texture prob, I'll figure that out and update you as soon as it is sorted out :).

LOL no fov. Bayonet looks like a toothpick :D

Tex sliding is easy, man. Just load up the reference, select all the groups and then go to Windows > Tex Coord Editor then export/overwrite when you've moved them.

I'm working on it, but you have to get the coordinate's locations near-perfect in order for it to work :(.

EDIT: Bah, forget this. I saved a backup enfield, I'll work off that :).

easy fix with lithunwrap

Captain Dan

Fixed it with LithUnWrap, thanks Malark :).

I tried adding FOV for the bayo but you cant see it even with that, so I toned it down to a more realistic size .

Its a spike bayonet, you wouldnt be able to see it unless I added SEVERE amounts of FOV .

So do it, I don't see what the issue is.

FOV is unrealistic.

But then again, so was my Headcrab grenade :D.

No, not seeing a foot-long bayonet that's supposed to be on the end of the rifle is unrealistic.

You minus well not even put a bayonet on there and just pretend that it's there. It wouldn't matter, you wouldn't be seeing it anyways :p

I use the "Dev Team Policy" with my hackjobs. I make them for myself, and if you like it, you can download it :).

there were some bayonets that were side mounted. The ones I saw were on the right hand side, so still might not see in game, but, umm, oh well, i was just talking about something... what was it...:dog: that damn dog made me lose concentration.

Here you go, I had to add monstorous amounts of FOV but it worked :). (http://img5.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img5&image=enny2.jpg)

LOL I bet you 20 bucks more than 3 people say it needs more.

Personally, I still hate all origins for all guns, simply because as much as I try, I can never try to match them in real life, well, without almost putting the stock behind me, which would, if fired, result in me losing my nose.

IMO someone should try what (was it splinter?) did on the mg42. Putting it out and stuff. Not much, but also shouldered more, and not to the point where it is on the right side of your screen.

If any origin/hackjobber/CornFlakes dude knows what I am talking about, I say try making a realistic origin to any weapon, I wonder how it would turn out.
