Compiling the Default Models with changed Equipment

So im sitting here with milkshape loading all the .smd's I'd need for a standard player--my example is this:

k43_body.smd
medium_gear.smd
head_02.smd
hair02.smd
hat.smd

May not be the exact names, but its close.

In summary, I'm trying to compile the axis-medium class to use the K43's body.

My question is, if I were to do this; what are the steps to compile this correctly--and actually have it work correctly as a functioning axis-medium class ingame?

rename the smd for the k43 body to that of the medium body, you'd have to do the same for the head, since that's where the arms are.

You don't need milkshape, just rename k43_body.smd to medium_body.smd, all you need for that is windows.
