ok. this is my first map so bear with me now
i have finished makeing my map with hammer. so i tryed to compile the map to play! :eek: but there is a problem when i run it dose its whole :rolleyes: compile thing and then it gose into the game and says it cant find file (map name).bsp on sever so then i quit out f the game and go to my map file in dod i find my map BUT it is a map. file not, a bsp.
:confused: what doo i do? i know i probly missed a step some where but idont no what or why

PLEEZZZE help me :kitty: i am so :( and :mad: it dosent work...

Do a search on your harddrive for "*.bsp" (without the quotes " "). If you find your bsp just copy it to your dod\maps directory. If you don't find it your compile failed and you need to research why.

you didn't relly help but thx i figured it out sorta:D :D ;) :D

it probably has something to do with the way you have configured hammer :P if you dont tell it to copy the best to the /maps directory it wont.
