This is a very early draft, and I am really only doing it to teach my self Softimage.

I followed the same process as they did to make the movie Prop: Take an existing Thompson, chop off some of the existing parts, then add the shell around it.

The Pulse Rifle was originally constructed from a Thompson.

Does any one know if there is a 3d model of a Remington M870 shotgun, perhaps from a Counterstrike or Firearms customization? Because that’s what they made the Pulserifles attached grenade launcher from.

TBH im not a big fan of the Modern models dod released... M16s with dod hands and stuff... waste of time imo.

but... as a Model WIP it looks cool ;]

Any ways don’t expect to be using this any time soon, It turns out that Softimage’s SMD exporter is only Half-life 2 compatible.

they use a SPAS 12 pump actually not an 870 :p

Yup. The Pulse Rifles was built by putting SPAS12 and a Thompson together. Viola! a M41a!

i'll probly download this when its done. and i already got the sound for the rifle too from my avp2 game. worth the 20 bucks gentlemen.

Well, Jed made an XSI importer for milkshape, you can use that to import it and finish it in milkshape.
