What directory do I put custom models/sprites in? [Archive]

What directory do I put custom models/sprites in?

I'm tried putting custom models and sprites in my c:\sierra\halflife\dod\models or \sprites folder but I still see the default models in the game. What dir should they go in?

You should put them in the C:\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\*youremail*\Day of Defeat\dod\models or sprites folder

If not in that directory it should be C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\*youremail*\Day of Defeat\dod\models or sprites folder
