how specifically do I createa mortar that repeats without being activiated

just like on charlie. where that hole keeps getting hit like every 30 seconds or what not... how can i create a "mortar" that will fire like every 10-15 seconds without having to be "used"

any help will be appreciated

catch me on aim if possible

I know it requires trigger_auto and func_mortar_field I just don t know the settings required

i'm sure there are many ways


step 1: create your func_mortarfield
-make a big square brush with the aaatrigger texture
-make it a func_mortarfield (ctrl T )
-set your damage value, spread, etc
-name it ie: "beachmortar"

step 2: make a trigger
-a multi-manager set to loop would do it
or -a trigger_multiple across the allied spawn area
(set the delay appropriately)
or -the best way imo, multiple triggers in many places around the map that trigger different func_mortarfields in various places, at various delay-before-reset values, thus simulating 'randomness'
