Making a (good) map is a very rigorous ordeal, it would be best if you used existing maps for your movies

We are going to be using existing maps, but in the event we need a custom map, or a rigorous overhaul of an existing map, I included it as a requirement.

We are mostly going to be using dod_anzio, but will need some editing done to it.

Ryan Gregg (Nem) and I have been bouncing around the idea of an exporter for maps that lets you bring them into 3D modelling packages as "stages" for making movies.

At present we've got a sort of rough exporter to dotXSI format (thanks largely to Greggs coding skill) but its not ready for a public release yet.

It exports the map geometry, textures and replaces lights with dotXSI omi lights. Theres still some obvious tweaking one needs to do to set the stage up.

I've worked with Tr@vis on the hit DOD movie known as "The Carentan Sector" and his previous work, "Dual of Fates". I've co-directed, and have 2 1/2 years of mapping experience.

If you need proof of my words, add me on MSN or AIM...
