Where do you install PLAYER models for Steam 1.2 DoD?

Wherever your Steam folder is, put the player models in- SteamApps/youremailhere/day of defeat/dod/models/player, and then in that folder create folders named axis-inf, axis-para, brit-inf, us-inf, us-para, and then put whatever player model into the appropriate folder. And in case you didn't realize, you need to make whichever folders I listed that aren't already there.

Yeah thanks pedro that's what I told a clan mate of mine but for some reason it didn't work for him. Oh well.
