Not bad, however it looks alot like kalt, with the bridge and sewer system, but a better one if I may say so :D Keep it up.

Ill tell you straight up my opinion, no pun. The water is ugly, i suggest a new water texture. Secondly, the lighting is bare, try darkening up the map, make it dusky, morningish. Third, in the pic with the water and bridge along the side theres some building over the water with tree line on top, truth is it doesn't look right, try a new look for that side of the river.

Don't take this the wrong way, im just giving you my honest opinions on your map. Good luck with the rest of it.

True that!, but yeah, just switch the water texture, then try scaling and rotating it to get a little bit of a better look to it. for the side with the treetop edge, maybe make that a snow covered fence or something. I def agree with switching the lighting, right now its very blah, I didn't see many shadows or anything, you wanna have some atmosphere in a map... so make one! :-)

I forgot to say this is a clanmap :rolleyes:

The water is ugly, i suggest a new water texture.

My clanmates said the water shouldn't be any darker, so that it would be harder to slip through the water unnoticed.

Secondly, the lighting is bare, try darkening up the map, make it dusky, morningish.

I'm like 3.99 MB of 4.00 Mb texture usage. This is not the only place where the treeline is implemented :(

I know this sounds alot like I don't want to take any advice and some of you may think ''Why did he post this anyway?!''. I'll tell you why. I might not change the map to your advice but I now know what's more appreciated in maps. Like atmosphere above clearity (water and lightning).

Maybe you should makes transparent walls also if your clanmates need shining bright water :-\. Water is for moving while being unnoticed.
