No it's not in all the versions. I'm not sure exactly when it came in off the top of my head but I'm thinking 2.0/2.1b time.

yeah avalanche came in in 2.0 along with a bunch of new maps, it and anzio being the only maps that have survived all the updates unscathed.

Wasn't that dod_caen ... dod_anzio wasn't in early betas.

I'm talking since Beta 1.0, that is.

correct.

As far as I can remember, the only map that made it through ALL the updates is caen.

yeah, i meant from all the maps introduced in 2.0, only anzio and ava survived (with caen from the earlier betas), heatau, zafod, schwertz and the beach maps were dropped, ramelle was, and is again, being redone, and thunder was turned into donner.

And yeah, caen is the only map since to survive since the very first beta. omaha, dam, snowtown and oslo made it to 1.3 before receiving the axe for 2.0, although many regard kalt to be snowtown reincarnated. hill, seg3 and sicily, introduced in 1.2, suffered the same fate as the other 1.3 maps. Koln and cherbourg came and went, then came back and went away again... glider and kraftscoff were para maps in 3.0 along with hedgegrow, with the first 2 being converted to standard maps while hedgegrow was dropped with the other 3.1 maps to make way for all the new maps introduced in 1.0

Shivy, you really post things without doing any sort of research or thinking about them prior to posting. Ive seen the post you've done and yeah not much thought have been done to them at all..

..and please... its not necessary to use cap lock in every damn post you do.
