Hi. A long time ago i was reading threads here on iron sights. I remember someone posting a cvar setting that changed the position of the default dod weapon on screen.
Cant remember what it was tho.. I've searched for quite a while now but i cant find the post.

Anyway, the thing is, i dont like the thompson position so far to the side of the screen. Can i move it more towards the middle?
Just so that it looks im holding it closer to me. Is this possible?

Ok well just to clarify things; I kept searching and finally found some cl_bob* discussions. I guess it was that then. Even tho i seem to recall having the possibilty to actually change the position a bit more fine as opposed to what the bob variable does. But lets not talk about it bob.

Anyway, i put back the 3.1 tommy and thank heavens it already looks better.

Mod's can close this thread or delete it as they see fit.

zeep.

Yes you can change the weapon origin by decompiling the weapon and editing the qc file.

Search for that instead :)

That sounds pretty good. I couldn't do it tho because i don't know the first thing about modelling.
Maybe i can ask someone to do it :)

I'm happy with the 3.1 thompson. But if it could move a bit more to the left, and the front a bit less ( so that it would still point towards the crosshair ) that would be great.
I'm very curious as to how that would look.

Eeew that origin looks too high to me, I'm not a fan of high origins without the gun being brough closer the eye.
