sprite in a model ??

are u able to put in a sprite then u are making a model ???
e.g fire or smoke
because in making a hack job on the c47 from the glider_flight.mdl
with an anim where it gets shot down ....

yes i believe you can attach sprites.

also there is a custom c47 model which is higher poly but the skin aint that great, its called 'ab_c47' check your model folder for it ;P

i would give it to ya but i have no way to upload it...

ya right again the skin is ugly

about the sprites, in hl, look at the eyes of the garg

They aren't sprites, they are thin squares in the model with a texture that has a black background, then whatever image you want...set it to additive and it will look like a sprite.

Negative. That feature was added just recently. The gargantua has three attachment points where the sprites go (the red eye and the flames). Muzzleflashes work the same way. I'm not sure whether one can attach permanent sprites to attachment points in the .qc.
