Great SKIN !!! :D !
love those metals ;]

btw... the p/w models should not be so high poly :-(
cause unlike the V_model the p/w models are rendered all around the map, from other players, from the ground etc... it might lag, i hope not.

you should really compare the original release of this mp40 with the one I released brutal... I've added several things (grip on the other side of the handle, screws, and the knobby thing on the bottom), as well as completely remeshing the model. I think I deserve some credit for that, don't you?

Well I had no idea you did that, Im sorry but now that you mention it I'll fix that

I'm a big fan of your work, Brutal, but this is not one of your better textures. The base metal texture is good, but it seems lacking in details, the fact that the mp40 is a rather simple weapon doesn't help things, I'm sure.

The piece on the back there is stretching the texture pretty bad there, making the metal look mottled, to the point where it doesn't match the rest of the gun very well. I'm not sure how much you can do about that, perhaps, just even out the contrast on that part so it blends better, but I think that it detracts from the rest of the texture.

I know this is a common criticism in these parts, but I think my main issue with it is that it's way too clean, there are hardly and scratches or blemished on the metal, which gives the gun an overall mundane look to me.

Edic: Oh yeah, and what's with the huge bullet texture? I've seen it on a few of the recent releases, and granted, it's a nice texture, but 256x256 is far too big for a simple detail that's almost never seen. Not a big deal, but you could save a bit of memory by cutting it down to 128 or less.

THanx Trigger. The metal i was just experimenting with, i put a few cuts and scratches here and there but deleted it after because alot of the skin is stretched so they turned out funny so then i decided to just go for the clean metal look.
But i wont be doing that again hehe:)
