i was trying to make some crosshairs for 1.1 cause the origianls r messed up.. so i tried black bkround, 77,77,77 grey bkround and 66,66,66 grey (these r the color names in Photoshop)
but all of them show a grey/black square around the crosshair wen i use them in 1.1.. wut i do is take an existing custom crosshair pack, save the bmp, bring to psp and change the first crosshair save it 8bit bmp and save it a spr with spritewizard.... but they keep showing the backround... can some1 make me a crosshairs PACK (note pack) with 2 crosshairs: the shotgun crosshair in HL (make the cricle as thin as possible and the space within the circle as small as possible)
and the magnum crosshairs (make the lines as thin as possible and the space between them as thin as possible...

EDIT: photoshop (mi brain was somewhere elese when i wrote this)

For your background color, pick in the PSP the last color and fill the background with it. No matter which color is.

After, in the spritewizard, pick the [alphatest] option.

It should work fine.

By the way, here you have some custom crosshair for dod 1.1b and a bmp model :

opaque ? just pick a color which is not the last color (in a 256 color palette of course)
