BSP_slicer and steam

Has anyone used BSP_slicer on the steam directory maps?

I can't seem to get the directory it needs in the config pointed to properly.

I use:

D:\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\<account>\day of defeat

Even tried copying all the files into the default location it was looking for, guess the program is smarter then me....*sigh

Keeps telling me that it can't find the Half-Life/Valve directory.

I suppose I could transfer the maps I need into the old Sierra install directory, but I am hoping there is a better way.

Thanks

Put the Half-Life liblist.gam in the valve-folder to make BSP_Slicer understand.

Thanks Zyndrome for your quick reply and helping me make BSP_slicer work.

I copied the liblist.gam from:

D:\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\<account>\day of defeat\dod

to:

D:\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\<account>\day of defeat\valve

and pointed the BSP_slicer to:

"D:\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\<account>\day of defeat"

It was important to put the pointer in double quotes since the windows folder has blank spaces in the name 'day of defeat'

$halflife_dir = "D:\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\<account>\day of defeat"

Again thanks
