How do you view models with the different faces and bodies. Like the mger is different from the sniper and is different from the smger and is different from the rifleman. I want to see the different faces and body types. Can anyone help me?

I cant find it. Is this in the Quake Scene builder?

OK, I figured it out.

You must have the Half Life Model Viewer to view the model. Change the head, gear, body, etc. and then save the model. Then you just open that model in Quake Scene builder.

Horay!

I'm confused as to what you are actually trying to do.. If you are just looking at the different submodels then why are you saving it ? Are you trying to reskin the model?

I want to view the submodels, save them, and use them in Quake Scene builder. When I view the submodels and save them, they dont save the way I want them to and they go back to the default skin.

thats because you are saving the model. u cant save submodels.

You'd need to save the reference.smd of your submodel then compile it as a new model..

DreadLord's right... If you click "save model" in Half-Life Model Viewer it's not saving the model as just the class you have showing at the time.. It's just saving the model as itslef again...

You need to decompile the model... Using Milkshape3D import each of the .smd's related to the class (body, head, hair, helmet, gear, etc.), and save it off that way... HLMV is really only good for reskinning (without decompiling) and viewing models...
