im trying to add a mine field to my map and i have the env_explosion and the trigger_once on top of it that targets the mine and while this works fine if i run it in half life, in dod the mines dont trigger. do i need to add a manager to make them go off?

you can make a mine with just one entity
make it a func_breakable, set to "touch" and "pressure"
give it an explosive value, material=metal
it can be visible, or not if you like
you can even set it to team specific if you like
the sound/sprite/gibs will all be there
and it will reset every round
