are there any north african desert type maps?

Looking to mix up my dedicated server at a Lan this weekend with some fresh maps, and I'm think a desert theatre would be a great addition :D

Yes I am working on it, it's one of my two current projects. The aptly named dod_nordafrika.

An El Alamein map would be good (yeah I know theres a crappy map of it, but I want a good map) set around the hospital area, which changed hands between British and German forces.

Temple is kind of like an RTCW map, but set in (duh) africa.

dod tobruk was fairly popular at the lan, I dont much like the wide 'charlie' style killing ground but atleast it wasnt too big and once you destroyed the allied tanks (although they had german symbols on them :p) it wasnt an issue anymore. The rest of the map was quite well done.

temple was far less popular, I guess it was the general lack of cover and the use of bright textures which made lanners dislike it.
Some also felt the egyptian pyramid theme didnt fit in with DoD, though I didnt think that mattered as much. theres lots of amusing cs maps like the de_rats after all ;)
