We just need a textur artist

I gave this thing a simple grey texture. Can anyone make it more detailed? cause the texture is only 4 pixels wide and 1 pixel high

The model needs to be UV mapped, before it can be skinned.

Well UV mapping basically is where you unwrap the mesh of a 3D model, and lay it out in 2D, you then colour in this 2D UV map with your texture. If you would like to learn more about how to make UV maps, then try this link http://www.dayofdefeat.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=28129

Hello everyone, im the modeler of that bike that my buddy Kicker requested for a map of his. The model needs UV mapping i know, but thats texture artist's work cos i HATE LithUnwrap so far, i cant figure it out. So whoever is gonna skin this, im sorry but i couldnt unwrap it... and yeah my models are kinda tricky... :(

Anyway Captain Dan why the heck you textured it with a plain 1x4 grey texture?? i mean... you didnt change anything cos the model was mapped with a 1x1 white texture... hanywhay....

Good luck to the skinners out there... plz gimme credit for the model if youre gonna use it in your maps ;)

I would have made it in photoshop, but i dont know how to make perfectely straight lines in that yet.


Anyways, sorry about your model, i'm kinda new to skinning, and i didnt know what uv mapping was.

Hello. I hope somebody can answer this question for me.

I've been playing DOD since day 1 and I have created several maps.

I need to know what to do to make all of the weapons available to the axis on my map. What do I need to do to make this happen?

I want everybody to be able to select any weapon they want. I have looked through the forums somewhat and did a search on google repeatedly but there is so much stuff out there that I am lost.

I am running a Steam dedicated and I would really appreciate it if someone could explain this to me.

Ill find someone to do this....I want this model! Volunteers??? Itd go sooo perfect on the bridge, dont ya think? After all, recall what Cpt. Miller is leaning against at the end of the movie...

Will someone at least UV MAP THIS!! I know plenty of are familiar with the process.

Hey peeps,

Just wanted to request a skinner for this guy again. Aside from personal reasons (hehe) it would also benefit more than just me having another map model to work with.

I'd ask someone to step up and get this out to the mapping community. Every model helps do just that.

Ask Jed or Tolchock or Divisional maybe? Pm them they may be able to Skin it for you :)

Oh and the guy who was asking the mapping question there isn't a way for one team to select all weapons unless you drop the actually weapon in their spawn by using the weapon_nameofweapon entity in hammer.
