LMAO!:p That crossed my mind too (doesnt help I'm from Atl. Ga.)

Effexx is hard at work on the new Joe pack. And I guess w/ a lil hack jobbin', we could kinda make the Cobra pack models a lil' more interesting(not that they dont look good already) by adding a few other Cobra bad guys. I'm going to get w/ Effexx and see if we could push out a Joe/Cobra mega pack. I've got a ton of Joe stuff and he does too. I'll even make sounds from the old cartoon for the pack.

Looks kinky ;) ... I've been tossing around the idea of reworking the Cobra Soldier models... They always looked a little "droopy drawers" in the crotch to me... rofl.. So I was going to try replacing the lower half with something a little more aesthetically pleasing... I did notice that I should have corrected the "texture shifting" on the Cobra pack for the 1.1 compile (oops).. I'll leave that be for the time being since I want to update it anyway...

The GI Joe Allied Infantry Pack is near done... couple small things to correct (or try)... I've never been pleased with the shoulder/bicep areas on a couple of the models so I've been tweaking the vertex assignments... I think I've got the best I can get out of the existing polys whithout totally replacing the entire arms... Expect that out this weekend... probably by Friday...

heh.. I worked up a roster a long time ago for a complete Cobra Infanty pack that never even got started, but for what it's worth.. this is what I had in mind back then:

Light = Cobra Soldier (Blue Meenie)
Medium = Crimson Guard
Sniper = Night-Viper
Heavy = Vipers
MG = S.A.W. Viper (or possibly B.A.T.S)

... who knows... someday...

Although I love the Viper boys, I still like using the main characters (not that Vipers arnt' in the main character catagory), like Cobra commander, Destro, and StormShadow for example.

Yeah.. It's nice using wellestablished characters, but it looks strange to see 6 Dusty's or 3 Flints running around together... That's why I kind of always envisioned a pack with non-specialized characters like the Vipers, or Crimson Guard... You always saw several of them together in the cartoons... Unfortunately aside from the rather plain looking Joe Grunts that fill the ranks the whole Joe team is made of individuals... <shrug>

Sweet, that would be funny seeing 8 snake eyes on the field. Althought random grunts would be better. It would be great to have a full conversion with steam menu's and stuff changed to GI Joe as well. :D

not yet... been busy the last couple days, and I need to package up the GI Joe Allied Infantry pack today... Today I'll dig through my saved stuff, and see if I can find all the vguis, icons, flags and menu stuff I did awhile back...

Tell me before you release it and I'll send you the Joe sounds for the pack.
