Alrighty then, I decided this needed its own thread, as I radically changed it, they are like new skins. They need a tad more work but I was sick of seeing the khaki models taking over DoD. Try some green ones on for size. I decided to do this after reading about alot of the behind german lines divisions wearing the hunter greens because of the forests, and remember my grandfather saying the snow at some points made them stick out like "big green thumbs"

Here's the image gimmie feedback!:

Nice work. Reminds me of the CoD paratroopers (without their Airborne gear of course).

they look pretty good, except the divisional patch seems to be on both arms, and it blends in with the jacket a little too much.

I like it. It's a nice change of color, and I like seeing non-"famous" infantry units supported.

nice job, but I was wondering if you could put the green color on the regular us airborne models?

I got a good suggestion, put leaves and shrubs on their helmets since they're a forest unit.

I don't think they should have blood on their cloths... atleast not so much and not for every1.

Thanks for the feedback!!

The coloring was alot of individual cutting out of original textures, using hue/saturation and or brushes with transparency to acheive the color I wanted.

The dirt on the uniforms is a sort of have to, considering DoD only uses 2 textures for uniforms, I sort of like the result though.

I'll release a default pack with the green and no dirt too, as soon as I can release this one :)

Ok, I took the div. patch off one arm on the light jacket, but the coat uses mirroring so its on both. Now I know they usually did not sew patches on the coats, however as trig pointed out it looks as if it 'blends in' look closer, its actually painted or branded on. Use your imagination :D
