What ever happened to those models where the mouths moved when you use the mic? Would it be hard to use this concept on other models?

I think Devin Kryss was the one who made those.

I thought it was Dudewheresmykar or Danza, something like that, who came up with first moving mouth models.

how come ur oragins dont save with models on ur version of hlmv, that would be a rrally nice feature if it saved the model with new origins nstuff

Because to re-origin an already compiled requires re-calculating and re-setting both the vertices and bones plus re-doing all the animations. Its a hell of a lot of work, beyond my abilities with c++ and its just plain easier to do it with studiomdl.

im having a big problem adding a mouth to a model :o

i decompiled jeds model to see how the mouths work and i saw there was a added line in the qc and a added bone to the skeletonso i opened up my us-inf model and added the Bip01 Mouth bone then i created the mouth part of the model but when i recompile it everything is messed up the head is turned upside down. the mouth works though

*edit* problem solved :) it was a matter of some notepad editing, you gotta love notepad :D
