I'll do it, do u want the americans or british? and what of the guns.. do u want all the default allied guns made to have dark hands? i can do it but if ur axis and u decide to grab an allied gun ur hands will turn black.. lol

could u do both americans and british lol there was a british african squad i think they fought in africa though but could u do both of them. dont worry bout the hands ill wait til someone makes a glove to cover the whole hand so u couldnt tell the difference :)

p.s does anyone know a quick way to put new hands/sleeves on a model by not going one by one in hlmv?

DOnt worry mate, racists normally get banned. It wud be cool to have 1 or 2 black players in ur platoon cos I was thinking the exact same thing today.

it would look rather funny to see an african american in a german uniform, not that im against it but i think it would be great to have afriacn american allied models .. its about time there was some cause i know alot of the african american dod players would like to heve em.

My British Airborne models have a black Bren gunner who we affectionately named "Leroy".

i think the dev team should have made some african americans as there were plenty of african american soldiers in the war.

I can see how that wud be slightly difficult to implement, but yeh I would love to have that slight diversity even if the player was only slightly darker.

But I guess in DOD2, one wud b able to choose their player skin, like Vietcong. So it wudnt require so much coding.

it's more like ... adding an optional model/texture other than coding... it's very simple to do.

I think the reason there is none in the game is because "most" african american soldiers held jobs such as cooks, transport drivers, things such as that. I think the most combat proven african american soldiers were probably the Army AirCorp boys.

You'll never see a british african american....because if they're british, they're not american! The term "african american" always seemed silly to me, as if all dark skinned people are from africa, and they all currently reside in the states. We don't call white people "european american" and we don't call japanese people "asian american" so why the "african american"? Isn't it a little silly? Meh.

Anyhow, I'd love to see a mixed squad pack, if it was done right, and not just a simple re-skin of the defaults, but had some modeling and hack jobbing done I'd be the first in line to dl it! thats a great idea :)
