Hey guys this is the first time i ever touched anything like this.
I re-skinned the american para model, i TRYED to make it look like an infantry man from the First Special Service Force.
But considering i was working with the model, i couldnt change some things, o well.

Heres a pic of basically what it SHOULD look like.

Thats good for a first try, better than anything i managed on my early attempts at skin edits.

Keep at it.

A good try before you jump into advanced crap is to do simple recolors in Photoshop.

Itd end up looking a lot nicer, and hell, you gotta start some where.

just a little piece of advice on skin editing of pre-existing skins. If your using photoshop which I HIGHLY recommend, make sure you change the bmp from indexed color to RGB color before you do any edits to the pre-existing skin. If you leave it in indexed color every change you make is gonna be fugly beyond belief. To change the mode, click the image tab, go to mode, and change it to RGB. You can save your progress as a psd until you are completly 100% satisfied with your work then you just have to go back and save the end result as an 8 bit bmp file. To do this, just change the mode back to indexed using the above steps in reverse. This way you retain all the changes you made to the original skin in 100% beautiful color the way you want it to look. If you have any further questions, email me with my email link in my sig.

try looking for a close up of some clothing of the same color than layer it over the jacket and give it some transparency, that shoud give u the folded/cloth look
