Weapon models

I know this is a n00b question, but I don't know anything about modelling.

Just wondering if the weapon models for 3.1 can be used in 1.0. I'm mainly asking because, so far, I'm not too keen on a few of the new models. ( :( sorry ). For example, I'd like to swap the 1.0 kar98 sniper model with the 3.1 one. Is it possible?

you'll probably have to re-compile it with new animations, but yeah, you can probably use them

With a lot of the weapons getting secondary functions (m1- butt whack) I can't see how you wouldn't need to recompile. However, have faith in the MSA community, they make anything possible.

Yea, good point, I forgot about the secondary functions. Ahh, well, maybe the models'll grow on me. I'd didnt use to like the current garand, but now I think its pretty cool.

I realize you're entitled to your opinion lynx, but what is there not to like about the new kar sniper rifle?

Yeah the game isn't even out yet. Just wait and see if you like em then.

Sup Dennis. I was just asking if its possible thats all. And I realise it could look completely different in-game with all the new animations etc.
