Very nice indeed. Maybe it is time for me to give mapping a shot. I hope he will continue putting these out as with dod going retail, it could help out the masses of new players and we could have tons of new and exciting maps to play.

I wouldnt consider myself a noob, but not quit an novice, but i was wondering to what extent does this movie go into mapping, is it just like setting Hammer up and getting started with brushes and basic entitys? or even further into it like that multiple entity thing?

the tutorial is basically for a first time mapper, setting up VHE, creating a one room box with a sky, rain, a river, spawn defence (sorta) and a few other things. its good to do your FIRST map on.

I never mapped before two nights ago. I followed a guide on a website, got somewhere. After watching this video, I made a map. It is REALLY helpful for people who have NO previous experience with mapping. The map I worked on is for a short movie I am doing. Simple forest type map.

It is not for anyone who has mapped before. This is the perfect beginner's guide.

faceman i got the second perfect tutorial for you, it includes a lot of more stuff, you will think its very helpfull as well.

ive been mapping for a month or so, and this is helping me loads.
