Disclaimer: None of this is my original work. It’s just thrown together from various sources.

MaRzY High poly K98
Dillinger & Russ. Conscript Skins
Bots sheaths
Triggers Springfield.
Maybe I'll throw in Cheetos extra sheath textures

Hers is what I did.

The K98:
V model I took MaRzY high Poly K98 with Dillingers skin, and bots sheathed k98. in Milk shape I removed the sheath and put it on the MaRzy/Dillinger K98. For the P and W model I just took the ones by Bots and put Dillinger skin on them, so they match the V model.

The Springfield:
The V model is unchanged from triggers Springfield pack. for the P W models I took the Sheath from the K98 P W models and scaled it to fit the Springfield, which is using Dillingers skin.

All of the metal on that k98 is mine.. btw, you may want to snoop around the rel. section, i made a better version of that metal ;)

Very nice work Grain...:), please don't forget to add credits for my custom sleeve models aswell, which are on the kar 98.

I or someone else must get around to enhancing the spring, it looks out of place next to the kar.

Great stuff keep it up....:).

Great work! You may want to add some cloth wrinkles and such in the sheaths, though!

Fixed the UV map to get rid of the black spots on the sheath do to texture misalignment.

To do list:

K98:
1) Narrow the sheath so the FOV isn’t so pronounced : Done
2) Replace Russ. Conscript old metal with his new metal. : Done
3) If it’s finished in time, use MaRzY s transparent lenses K98 as a base.

Spring:
1) The barrel sheath is too far forward, shrink it back a little.
2) The Barrel sheath is too high up in the front, angle it down a bit so the barrel is sticking out of the top of the sheath instead of the bottom.

Enfield:
1)Add sheaths to P & W models with Dillinger skins.

Sheath textures.
1)Get someone with better photo shop skills to add wrinkles to them. Any takers?

I like seeing all the new sheathed sniper rifles being created, but it would be nice to see one with a sheath not so snug around the barrel, kind of hanging down past it to blend in with the surroundings. i think you know what i mean. ill look for pictures...if someone else could post some that would be nice. thanks

Good news: I finished everything on the to-do list. P & W Enfield are done, P & W Springfield’s are fixed. I went ahead and added Marksman’s high poly Brit and us sleeves to each model and MaRzYs high poly axis sleeve, all with Dillingers sleeve texture.

Three things though:
1 I tried to use the transparent lens K98 just released but unfortunately you can see the sheath inside the scope which looks kind of stupid. Can anyone think of an easy fix, my brain is strained?

2 I still need someone to add wrinkles to the sheath textures. ( Joe Anderson I still need your email if I am going to send them to you.) If no one can help with this I’ll just release them with out wrinkled sheaths.

3 Is this attached pic the only 512X512 Brit sleeve texture or are there more I don’t know about?

Can you release without wrinkles, then when you get the wrinkles, name is v2?

God your impatient! I will try and resolve these three issues but come Sunday regardless of whether or not I have, I will release them. (E-mail them to DOD EC) it usually takes them a couple of says to get them up so expect to see them Tuesday or Wednesday.

And i used the same sheath texture for the 98k...

I figured out a way to get the sheath to work with the transparent scope. It involved creating a new end cap for the sheath in the rough shape of a ring with the out side edge matching the shape of the end of the sheath and the inside edge matching the scope. Involved a lot of one by one vertex manipulation.

Here are the results.
