Pictures

New ones: http://www.massassi.net/ec/view.php3?user_id=1536&type=i&DateToView=11/18/2003

I suggest you take a look at the pics and at least note the Allied and Axis rpg targerts, as they are necessary to winning the map.

Old ones: http://www.massassi.net/ec/view.php3?user_id=1536&type=i&DateToView=10/18/2003

Not much has changed since the old pics, mostly added more detail to certain areas.

Updates Since Last Version, General Map Info

Map Info:

Map is set in an industrial park during a thunderstorm. 6 flags, all 2 man caps (they are instantenous though, takes only a second to cap). Plenty of tnt targets, and not enough tnt to trigger them all. I'm hoping this will cause the map to play a little bit different each time. Also, if you die while carrying tnt, it is possible to an enemy team member to take your tnt and use it on one of their targets, so guard your tnt well.

Because this map is so non-linear and has plenty of turns and possible dead ends (due to un-triggered tnt walls) I suggest you take some time to familiarize yourself with the map by yourself before playing online.

For those of you that downloaded the other version I had posted, here are a few updates I added:

- TNT targets are now team specific
- Added trigger_hurts to all spawn exits to protect spawns
- Clipped the sky to prevent access to any rooftops

I like how you set it up with blowing the walls with tnt. It looks good, and really has the feel of being in a rainstorm.

Looks cool, I hope I find a server somewhere running this.

One comment I would make is that the rooms seem a little featureless. There's plenty of rubble but no landmarks that make one ruined room different from the next. Maybe a burning fire here and there or a bookcase or chest of drawers would add character without dropping fps too much.

Wow exactly what I was just gonna say:p

Otherwise the map has very good atmosphere. One thing though is the bazooka/panzerschreck should be able to destroy walls, but that would probably kill your original intentions of the map as they can destroy multiple walls.

Yes I noticed this myself, and I'm working on ways to add more detail to the rooms in future betas. Broken down machinery, stuff to hide behind, etc.
