I was just lookign through a coupel of sites this afternoon cause i was bored and i came across the Call of Duty Webiste and guess what i found. Good old Captain Higgins and his 3rd ID skins for COD. He mentioned that he had skinned some models for Day of Defeat and decided to chuck the textures onto the COD models. The good part is that we haven't seen this release yet or a WIP thread and i hope when can get something out of him Cause these are really really great.

Hey, guys! Thanks for the compliments. The textures you see are basically edited MoH:AA and Wolfenstein textures to look somewhat decent... Here is the release I made as a conversion pack for the CoD Dawnville Demo:

3rd ID Dawnville Total Conversion Pack.

The skins feature:
- "Paintless" faces.
- Edited helmet textures.
- Some darker color corrected gear.
- M43 Jackets.
- Wool Pants.
- Leggings.

Foley's jacket is basically a quickly done, darker recolor of his original and wasn't meant to be absolutely quality - just for the record. The 3rd ID helmet logos were warped due to the helmet texture mesh. Also, due to modeling limitations, they still retain their paratrooper gear. (Compasses, ropes, A-style chinstraps, etc.)

Small set backs, in my opinion, which will be fixed when the actual game is released.

For screenshots of the skins, click here. (http://forums.dodhq.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=26388)

Also featured in this total conversion:
- 3rd ID menu screens for victory, defeat, loading, and main menu.
- A selection of new weapon sounds, and a new main menu song (Russ Morgan - "Dogfaced Soldier").
- A new names file, featuring the names of 3rd ID members from the present, past, and possibly near future.

Instructions:

1. Download the file below.

2. Extract the PK3 files into your CoD "Main" file:
Example: C:\Program Files\Call of Duty Dawnville Demo\main

3. Play and enjoy!

Cod isnt that demanding, if you can play Quake3, you can play cod fine, atleast I do and my specs are horrible.
