Guys i am just starting to become interested in changing stuff with player models etc.

I have a certain unit in mind that i would like to make, and since i dont no anything about actually making new body sizes etc, i just want to take what i already have and then change things and put new patches on etc.

But i dont no where to start, or what to download, could somone please help me out?

And is it harder then making maps? cause i had NOOOOOO success in that field..
