Finally. First thing you'll say is the metal texture is teh suck. I am aware of the texturing problems and will hopefully fix them at a later date. Other people can have a shot at it, but be warned the texture maps aren't pretty :D

Haha.

Well i don't totally suck...ok maybe i do.

The gun wasn't designed for gaming. I just modelled it as a hobby awhile ago and thought it would be fun to try and get it to work in Dod. Well it works!

Some may probably remember this thread from ages ago

It's not a total loss. I think it still looks good rendered from 3d studio max with nice lighting :)

Not bad at all but you're right about the metal. Go read some tutorials or ask the veteran weapon skinners around for some help and I'm sure you'll come up with a good skin. Good job on the wood :)

Apart from the metal, it's not a bad first release, keep 'em coming!

Great effort, although you need to brush up on you UV mapping skills, and also be more aware of your polycount, 5500+ is to many polygons.

Keep it up..:)

weird i really like this one but if it's 5500+ poly's i can't play it :/

Encouragment is underrated. Thanks guys :)

I'll certainly try and improve my uv mapping and texturing skills. Time is all i need.

Definatly good for a first release. The model appears to be quite good. The metal texture is fugly to say the least, but I have seen much MUCH worse. Little more practice and I could see some good stuff comming from you. Keep it up.

wow its looks beautiful when you render it, otherwise the skin ingame looks like $#@$#:p

but if you could get it to look like it does in the render that would be sweet
