Tracers from map MG's

Map mg's (like the anti-spawn-camping ones in maps) shoot tracers just like a regular player held one, so is it anyway possible to set the mg tracers to aim at a certain object and injore the player? Like have a mg be shooting at a wall instead of the player. Really ugly and quick picture below for reference of what I mean.

I too want to do this for a para sequence.

for the tracers i'd simply suggest an env_beam. although i think your going to have to make a suitable sprite to use :/

Is there any way you can get an Allied turret set up to shoot a specific location?

Aren't particle shooters meant for such things ?

That much work if I can get the buggers to move, and it'd also be rather odd seeing them slowly disappear if you do it wrong.

Does anyone know were I can find the tracer sprite. I looked in the sprites folder, but couldn't find anything.

Make one, shouldn't be THAT hard.

I don't think that tracers are sprites.

They are really created via the particle system... TGKB made me a sprite for them but its not anim

Tracers are hard-coded into the Half-Life engine, they aren't part of the particle system or a sprite either. Tracers are part of Half-Life as a coded thing.
