models from cs1.6 and textures for dod

Seeing as CS 1.6 has been released over steam I decided to give it a whirl (flame me :p )

Now I was running around on some of their maps today and noticed some nice trees, plant, street light models etc and some nice remade textures that look yummy to me.

Now if you've been playing CS 1.6 you'd know what I mean some of these would fit straight into dod with out much or any work done to them.

Now the only thing that bothers me about this is that everything is in a cached file and I don't know if or how to get any of them out. And if it is possible would they be the right size for dod etc.

Anyway whos seen them and whats yas all think?

I doubt you'll be able to extract them, sadly. I really wanted that fog sprite they have in aztec too. It looks so damn cool. I beleive the files are coded directly into the cache as binary files, but that was beta, so who knows.

I peeked in it with a hex editor back during the beta, they don't link and hide other files, the files themselves are in the cache.
