Small Maps Pack 2.0

08-31-2003, 09:10 PM
Hello everyone, I've actually had a number of ppl approach me and ask about the update to the small maps pack I had promised. Well, the time is now, the new and improved pack will be going out... soon. This is a call for all submissions. As before, we're looking at about a 3v3 4v4 map, give or take a little, fun gameplay, fair looks and whatnot. Since the pack has already been released you can go look at some of those maps to get a feel for size and other factors. We are taking both updates from those who have maps in the pack, and possibly new maps as well. If you are interested in submitting your maps plz do so by or on this Saturday. This is not a final version of the map, if its new, rather just a preliminary look, after this authors will have another week or maybe two if needed to finish the maps or updates.

Submit to me either in: pm, irc in #dodmaps, or e-mail to nrwirth@comcast.net

Thank you and good luck.

Bumpage;

If you want to submit a map, plz do so today, though it doesn't necessarily have to be the final version.

we had a lot of fun with the first small maps pack, so keep up the good work.

Eventually our server started crashing due to some bad MDL files, so we took those off as a quick fix.

When it did work, however, it was good times. Especially that map with the tank that rolls in! I cannot remember the name, though...
